IN THE CENTER (5 Soil / Karma)

When you enter this house, it is a good time to check your progress and attitude. You can look back at the way you have handled the previous stages of your goal's development and, thereby, understand how your activities have brought about your present situation.

Take the time to scrutinize both the negative and positive aspects of this house. Through this examination process, you can come to realize what it is you will have to do in order to keep your dream vital. As the realizations come, you can incorporate them into your plans, or you can make adjustments to your existing plans.

Please use this time wisely. Utilize all of the education that this house of karma has to teach, from the beginning to the end of the cycle. But, do not make any radical changes to your outward activities. This is a time to watch and learn, not to make big changes.

Some of the things you can look at are, your health, the well-being of those you support, the status of your dream and the immediate demands of your environment. One very clear indicator of your present condition is the visual appearance of your home environment. Is everything in its place and in good condition? Are you healthy and is your appearance fresh? Your managerial skills are very potent, at this time, and it's a good time to put your home in order. If you don't have the time to organize everything, then adjust what you can and take note of future requirements.

It is not that this month simply increases your capacity to recall specific decisions and activities. Karmic influences are actually more discernible, more predominant, now. If you are watchful, you will clearly see how the present situations and events have been shaped by your own intervention. Repercussions of your past behavior move towards you. Some positive. Some negative. In general, the more positive repercussions appear during the first half of this period. The more negative, the few days before you enter this house (approaching 5 Soil), and during the second half.

If, therefore, you inhabit this position, knowing that karmic connections are more apparent, you can see how certain shortcomings or mistakes have generated unsatisfactory results. And you can define the strong points and activities that have produced beneficial outcomes. Once you know that, you have a much better grip on the plans and the actions you can make, as you pass through the future houses.

Eating a healthy, well rounded diet is advised, for balance. Interestingly, physically round foods like cabbage, onions, squash and pumpkin are very beneficial, at this time.

As you enter the house of 5 Soil, you may meet someone from your past. The reason they have appeared is karmic, in nature. If possible, spend some time with this person.

In general, this is not the best time to travel. But, some journeys may be unavoidable. If you do travel, look for karmic associations with the trip. You may have some "unfinished business" that needs to be worked out.

Be careful when making major purchases.

On the surface, you will receive signals indicating how well you have handled your daily activities, during the preceding months. And signs from deeper within will point towards the progress of your long term aspirations and goals, over the course of the previous years. This "double" 5 Soil combination can produce a very intense atmosphere and, at times, you make feel that you do not have enough time to study the links between your past and the present events; that it is all too much to take in.

So, don't! You are not expected to, nor can you make all of these karmic connections, at once. You will have opportunities, in the future, to consider many of the events that you experience now. Indeed, many experiences will require time to sink in, to develop and bear fruit. While it is recommended that you make a conscious effort to center yourself, to watch, to learn, there is no reason to take this to the extreme. It is very likely that you will be quite busy, now, and that many issues will require your immediate attention. Relax. Take part in the times. It's OK to go with the flow, so long as you maintain a practical, balanced approach and act upon more than your emotions.
